Repairs and Sharpening
Inserted tooth circle saws are used for primary breakdown of logs in most sawmills. We are a distributor for Simonds inserted tooth saw blades.
We have a repair shop offering professional repair and service to all inserted tooth saws, edger saws from 14″ to 24″ diameters and 52″ and 60″ diameter head saws. We can repair tooth points and backs as well as leveling and tensioning.
We realized that if we’re going to sell band resaws, someone would need to do band saw repair and sharpening, so we opened our band saw shop.
We set up our shop to accomodate primarily 4″, 5″ and 6″ wide single cut band saw blades, but we have the capabilities to sharpen up to 10″ wide saws.
Walker Machinery Co., LLC has been in operation for over 15 years, and receives saws from four states.
We stock 5″ and 6″ wide Simonds band saw blades for West Plains horizontal resaws.
